The Eduimpact Lab invites student teams from various schools in Quezon City to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills by developing prototypes for innovative education solutions for submission to the QC Student Startup Competition.Â
Because education sector adaptiveness is of paramount importance, this challenge aims to empower students to think critically and compassionately about education issues and contribute to building more responsive health care systems.
"Create innovative AI-enabled solution and venture concepts that advance learning gains and support within the schools, households, community, and other relevant institutions."
Objectives:
Foster awareness and understanding of education innovation opportunities among students.
Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving related to education gaps and challenges.
Facilitate collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds and skills.
Provide a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas to address education gaps within their schools and barangays
Team Formation: Teams should consist of 3-5 students. Encourage diversity in skills, interests, and backgrounds.
Idea Generation: Each team should brainstorm and develop a creative maternal health solution. The solution can be a product, service, app, program, campaign, or any other innovative approach. Keep in mind the criteria of the QC Startup program.
Research: Teams are required to conduct research to understand the education gaps and challenges within their schools.
Prototype Development: Based on their research, teams should develop a prototype of their solution. This can be a rough model, a detailed plan, a mock-up, or a digital representation.
Pitch Presentation: Each team will present their prototype to a panel of judges. The presentation should cover the problem statement, their solution, how it addresses the problem, potential impact, and feasibility.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, relevance, feasibility, potential impact, and presentation skills.
Mentorship: Mentors (teachers, health professionals, or community leaders) can guide and support teams during the challenge.
